The National Trust's Calke Abbey Bat Walk was fully booked with 50 members of the public attending to hear a talk by our Chair Bill Cove followed by a walk down to the wildflower lawns in front of the house. Good views of noctule bats and both common and soprano pipistrelles were had with a few passes of a Myotis species.
