Data Service

The DBCG database is available to conservation bodies and commercial organisations. We normally charge a minimum fee of £75 to commercial organisations and ecological consultants.

Bats for beginers


Bat Detectors


For any serious study of bats, you will need a detector. These devices step down the bat's echo location system frequency to one within our own hearing frequency range.

There are several types of detector with a wide price range to chose from. One of the best suppliers is Alana Ecology.
